TREATMENTS
Each patient presents a different degree of injury and lifestyle. During the consultation, we evaluate which of these regenerative therapies (or their combination) is most suitable to restore mobility and improve quality of life without resorting prematurely to surgery.
It is essential to understand that in medicine no therapy is 100% effective for 100% of patients; there is always the possibility of a partial response or no response. That is why our commitment is to provide you with a clear diagnosis and realistic expectations from the very first consultation.
Prolotherapy (Proliferation Therapy)
What is it?
A non‑surgical treatment focused on repairing and strengthening weakened, lax, or chronically painful ligaments and tendons. By injecting a stimulating solution—mainly dextrose (a concentrated medical glucose solution)—into the tissue insertion points, a mild controlled inflammatory response is triggered. This signals the body to send collagen and repair cells to an area that was no longer healing on its own.
How does the treatment work?
- Evaluation: The physician identifies the exact points of pain, instability, or tendon/ligament insertion.
- Injection: Micro‑injections of the dextrose solution are applied together with a local anesthetic to minimize discomfort.
- Effect: Dextrose acts as a natural stimulus that activates the production of new connective tissue (collagen), tightening and reinforcing unstable ligaments or tendons.
- Duration & sessions: Each session lasts approximately 20–30 minutes. Typically, a protocol of 3–5 sessions spaced a few weeks apart is recommended.
High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid Treatments
What is it?
In orthopedics, high molecular weight hyaluronic acid is a sterile injectable solution used to improve lubrication, cushioning, and protection of the joints. It acts as a natural lubricant and shock absorber.
Benefits
- Relieves pain and inflammation
- Improves joint lubrication and function
- Protects cartilage and may delay its deterioration
- Increases mobility and quality of life
- Safe, minimally invasive outpatient procedure
Suggested for:
✔ Mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis
✔ Joint pain due to cartilage wear
✔ Patellar chondropathy
✔ Cartilage injuries
✔ Synovitis and mild inflammatory processes
✔ As a complement in joint injury rehabilitation
Platelet‑Rich Plasma (PRP)
What is it?
A biological, autologous therapy (obtained from the patient’s own blood) that uses the body’s natural mechanisms to accelerate the repair of injured tissues. It consists of isolating and concentrating platelets, which are rich in growth factors—essential substances for tissue healing and regeneration.
How does the treatment work?
- Extraction: A small blood sample is taken from the patient’s arm (similar to a routine lab test).
- Processing: The sample is placed in a medical centrifuge to separate platelet‑rich plasma from the rest of the blood components.
- Application: The specialist injects the plasma directly into the injured area (tendon, joint, or ligament), with anatomical precision or ultrasound guidance.
- Duration & sessions: The complete procedure takes 30–45 minutes. It is performed on an outpatient basis, and usually 1–3 sessions are suggested depending on the case.
Baropodometry Study for Custom Insoles (Europie S.A.)
What is it?
A precise analysis of plantar pressure and gait for accurate diagnosis and customized insoles.
What is it for?
» Detects gait abnormalities
» Prevents injuries and pain
» Improves performance and posture
Ideal for treating:
» Pain in feet, knees, hips, or back
» Plantar fasciitis
» Heel spur
» Flat foot or high arch
» Overuse and sports injuries
How is the study?
The study is performed on a digital platform where you place your bare feet. While you remain in a natural position for a few seconds, the system records how pressure is distributed across each area of the foot. The results are displayed in a color map, which helps identify excessive support points or imbalances. With this information, the specialist can recommend the most appropriate treatment and, if necessary, design custom insoles.

» 100% customized insoles
» Suitable for all ages
